This building seeks to manage available resources responsibly. Designed to be significantly prefabricated, it optimises steels potential for such a project. Systems have been kept simple – direct and largely passive. The life of the building is interactive with the energy it demands. A simple elegance has evolved that does not compete with the future but remains composed in common sense and sustainability and serene in its architecture. The concept minimises energy leakage and any heat (energy) will remain largely within the volume. Even the heat from a running bath or a warm vehicle engine is captured and used to heat the home.
