Take a look at all 18 designs that were shortlisted for Living Steel’s International Competition for Sustainable Housing.

Helin and Co Architects' construction is based on a system of prefabricated structural steel modular elements. However, to avoid monotony, the building is not just a simple four-cornered rectangle, but more lika a "T". This helps to create interesting spaces between the houses and enlivens the courtyards.
The elevations present a system of "garden balconies", a version of steel construction double skin façade based on passive solar energy. While the interiors have prefabricated steel parts like the staircases and the space-element bathrooms to keep up the pace of construction.
