Alison Brooks Architects Limited

Alison Brooks Architects developed a modular housing scheme entitled Low Cost, Ecological, Rococo Housing (LoRoCo) which features repeating modules  of 3.6 x 10.9 metres arranged lengthways in pairs to form two bedroom flats.

A key feature of the design is the playful decoration that forms a decorative ‘veil' around the building. Formed with CNC laser cut steel sheets, each design would be appropriate to the locality. So, in Warsaw the design could be based on the wall decorations of the Wilanaw Royal Palace.
